There is a sense of whimsy that comes with a terrarium full of plants. In a way, you—the planter—become a cross between god and a Lilliputian landscape architect, carefully creating and devising a miniature ecosystem, that when planned out well, can pretty much take care of itself.

Snake plants (Sanseveria) may very well be some of the easiest plants to grow in the home. They are forgiving in lower light conditions, don't require a lot of watering, and their upright growth structure make them the perfect addition for placement in the home.
