Growing plants that you can actually eat and harvest is one of my greatest pleasures in the home. You can snip leaves off a bay tree (Laurus nobilis), shown here, to make stocks. Cut down your basil to make pesto or dress on a pizza, and add parsley to your salad. The possibilities are endless. Photo by: Joey L.
